In the fall of 2021, UWG partnered with the Atlanta History Center to teach a course on museum administration. Through case studies, groupwork, and vigorous class debates and discussions, students learned how museums are run on a daily basis. These lessons included strategic planning, grant writing practice, creating marketing plans and press releases. Click the links below to see my class assignments!

In groups, students brainstormed a new human resources plan for the Williams Farm Park that included staff positions and salary rates.

My marketing plan for the MLK Day Event at the Atlanta History Center which includes programs for kids, teens, and adults.

Students were educated on how to use Candid, the online foundation database to research a company that would potentially fund a project they created. This is a proposal for the Southern Company Charitable Foundation in which I proposed a digital story map for the Historical Higher Educational Institutions of Atlanta.

Students were instructed on how to create an effective strategic plan for an institution, then created their own strategic plan in groups for the Midtown Connection Center in Atlanta.
